I. The registration fee for virtual paper authors includes:

  • digital space in a virtual session of the conference,
  • a conference bag (including a conference information package, tourism information package, conference materials, etc.)
  • a printed conference programme
  • attendance and/or Author certificates
  • an abstract reviewing process and abstract publishing costs (web, e-Book of Abstracts),
  • a conference paper reviewing process for the conference publications.
  • shipment costs (each registered virtual author will receive their conference bag with all conference materials and gifts, both attendance and author certificates, as well as an invoice of the registration fee via regular post. The shipment will be made after the conference).

 

The registration fee does not include accommodation, evening meals and publication fee for journals.

Conference participants are nor bind to publish their final papers in the conference journals. Therefore, publishing fees have been separated from the conference fees.

 

 

Payment

Registration fees should be paid only AFTER receiving the invoice from the organisational committee.

The registration fee can be paid via:

WesternUnion charges you a service fee (15-20 USD) when you make a money transfer. Please contact the LLCE2020 Organising Committee to ask for the recipient’s information.


Invoices of the registration fees (in pdf) will be sent to all participants via e-mail along with their registration notifications. The printed and signed copies of invoices will be provided along with the other conference materials in conference bags on December 10th, 2020.
 

Cancellation

  • A 25 EUR administration fee is taken for cancellation.
  • A full refund (-25 EUR) will be given back for cancellations received before October 31st, 2020 (included).
  • A 50% refund (-25 EUR) will be given back for cancellations received before November 15th, 2020 (included).
  • No refund will be given for cancellations received after November 15th, 2020. In the case of a very late cancellation, we recommend authors to change the type of their registration and present their papers/presentations/posters in a virtual session of the conference. 


 

The COVID-19 situation

The LLCE2020 is a hybrid conference combining both face-to-face and virtual presentations and events. However, due to a current global COVID-19 epidemy and related uncertainty in terms of both the participants´ ability to travel internationally and the organiser´s ability to host large gatherings of academics, all participants opting now for face-to-face presentations are kindly asked to be flexible and prepared to modify the type of their participation should the conditions do not allow LLCE2020 to be held on-site as expected. We as the organiser really care for your wellbeing and your health and safety are our priority.

If the epidemic situation in December 2020 do not allow to organise a face-to-face part of the conference, all conference contributions will be moved to a fully virtual format. In that case, the participants who have registered or will register in-person to attend the conference will be able to choose from three alternatives:

  • Option 1. Change from in-person to virtual participation: Participants will be able to present their contributions virtually (the virtual options will be announced on October 31, 2020). The difference between the in-person and virtual registration fees will be refunded.
  • Option 2. Transfer the registration to an upcoming event: The LLCE2020 participation will be withdrawn and the registration (attendance and publication) will be transferred to one of the three upcoming SlovakEdu conferences (Výzvy2021, CLEaR2021, LLCE2021), according to the participant’s personal or professional preferences.
  • Option 3. Request a full refund: In any case, participants will be able to ask for a full registration fee refund before October 31st, 2020.
