D. The registration fee for online participants (280,- EUR) includes:

  • digital space in a virtual session of the conference,
  • a conference bag (including a conference information package, tourism information package, conference materials, etc.)
  • attendance and/or Author certificates
  • an abstract reviewing process and abstract publishing costs (web, e-Book of Abstracts)*
  • conference paper reviewing process for the JoLaCE journal and/or the conference proceedings (depending on the author´s choice)**
  • shipment costs (each registered virtual author will receive their conference bag with all conference materials and gifts, both attendance and author certificates, as well as an invoice of the registration fee via regular post. The shipment will be made after the conference).
 

E. The registration fee for last-minute online participants (0,- EUR) includes:

  • digital space in a virtual session of the conference,
  • electronic attendance and/or Author certificates
  • an abstract reviewing process and abstract publishing (web, e-Book of Abstracts)
  • conference paper reviewing process for the conference proceedings. 

* Conference participants are not bound to publish their abstracts and final papers in the conference publications.

** If the author submits two final papers, one will be considered for publishing in the journal and the second in the e-proceedings.

S1: The Original Valletta Walking Tour (3 hours) with an English-speaking guide on 12 October = +20,- EUR

S2: A full-day tour to Mosta, Mdina, and Rabat from Valletta = +60,- EUR

  • A 35 EUR administration fee is taken for cancellation.
  • A full refund (- 35 EUR) will be given for cancellations received before September 15th, 2023 (included).

Registration fees

LLCE2024 participants will compose the registration fee according to their preferences.

The final registration fee consists of 3 components:

  • an abstract reviewing and publishing process
  • the manner of attendance (in-person participation or online participation)
  • publishing possibilities (conference participants are not bound to publish their abstracts and final papers in the conference publications.

The registration fee does not include accommodation and evening meals.

 
Types of registration fees:

- a fee for an in-person attendance (1 day) = 60 EUR

  • the costs related to collecting, reviewing, publishing and archiving abstracts on the website and in the e-Book of Abstracts*
  • standard technical equipment for presenting and streaming the conference paper (PC, data projector, microphone, headphones, camera, etc.)  
  • the conference badge allowing admission to all conference sessions on the selected day
  • the printed Attendance and Author´s certificates
  • refreshment during 2 coffee breaks and lunch on the selected day
 
- a fee for an online attendance (1 day) = 20 EUR
  • the costs related to collecting, reviewing, publishing and archiving abstracts on the website and in the e-Book of Abstracts*
  • the virtual space reserved for an online presentation of a conference paper
  • the Attendance and/or Author´s certificates (will be sent via e-mail after the conference - by December 15)
  • the virtual attendance of all sessions of the conference.
 
- a fee for virtual (asynchronous) attendance = 0 EUR
- at least 7 days before the conference, virtual authors will send the video recordings of their presentations which will be published on the conference website in the virtual session. The recordings will be made available for other participants in an asynchronous mode during the conference for free.
 
- a fee for publishing the conference paper in the conference proceedings = 20 EUR includes:
  • a conference paper double-blind reviewing process for the selected conference publication
  • the costs related to publishing and archiving conference papers on the website and in the Book of Conference Proceedings
