How to get to Nitra
A. from Bratislava (94 km)
The easiest and quickest way how to get to Nitra is by bus from the Bratislava airport or the Central bus station Mlynske Nivy. The bus takes app. 60 mins. and departures from Mlynske Nivy app. every half hour.
B. from Vienna (168 km)
The easiest and quickest way how to get to Nitra is by bus from the Vienna airport. The bus connection is either direct (at 9:05) or through Bratislava (with departure from Vienna at 8:30, 9:40, 10:30, 11:30, 12:30, 13:00, 13:50, 14:30, 15:00, 15:30, 16:30, 17:30, 18:00, and 18:30). In average, the journey takes 2 hours and 30 minutes (+ or - 20 minutes).
C. from Budapest (164 km)
The best way how to travel from Budapest to Nitra is by train. All trains start at the Budapest Keleti Main Station (at 9:25, 11:25, 13:25, 15:25, 17:25 and 20:05). You will need to change trains just once, in Nove Zamky. The journey takes 2 hours and 50 minutes.
D. from Prague (423 km)
Those who will travel from Prague may choose between traveling by train or bus. Trains start at the Prague Main Station (at 9:39 and 11:39) and the journey takes 6 hours and 37 minutes. Buses start at 8:00, 8:30, 9:00, 13:00 and 15:00). The buses departing at 8:30 and 15:00 are direct. If you choose other times, you will need to change buses either in Brno or Bratislava.
