Cultural work and cultural activities in prison conditions

Radka Zimanová; Univerzita Konštantína Filozofa v Nitre, Slovakia, Abstract: Cultural work represents variety of activities, created to form individuals, collectives, communities and the society in general. Authors of this paper focus on education and cultural activities of convicts in prison conditions and accent their realisation. Authors point on the importance of cultural activities and prisoner´s education from two different perspectives – improving the quality of their life by the time serving a sentence in prison, also prevention of recidivism.
